Sarah Palin Has the Political IQ of a Gnat: Why blaming the media won’t work

Preface: I have no idea what Palin’s political ambitions are. Perhaps she just wants to host a daytime television talk show. And maybe she just wants to make sure that any male born in her family has a name that starts with T and R. I don’t know. But just in case, on the slim chance that she does want to win a national election or even follow in Michael Steele’s trailblazing footsteps to become head of the RNC, I have to write this blog.

At most, Sarah Palin will just be the mascot of the Right Wing Repubs. Nothing more. A great fundraiser she is – and that’s nothing to sneeze at since most political parties raise the bulk of their funds from their base (and corporations who’s asses they are kissing).

Here’s why. She, her husband, her handlers and her political team are as dumb as a box of rocks. The blame-the-media strategy does not work. First of all, the majority of voters can see through the ridiculous facade that a politician is somehow a victim of the media. It didn’t work for the Clinton’s – yes, Bill had higher approval numbers than Bush (who wouldn’t even if he were being compared to Satan), but the country was tired enough of the Politician vs. Media fight to elect the genius governor of our glorious state of Texas for president.

She still hasn’t given up her “double standard” line when it comes to the media and right vs. left. She told Matt Lauer that Obama declared families off limits during the campaign, so no one touched his. I would pay good money for one of these interviewers to ask Palin if she thinks Obama would have been elected had one of his daughters become an unwed teenage mother. What if Michelle had had a previous addiction to prescription medicine as did Cindy McCain. There’s no way Obama would have been close to a presidential ticket if he had been known to use a governership as a persona

l ATM like Huckabee or committed complete 180’s between elections as with Romney in his governor race and then in his bid to become president. Obama was held to a much higher standard and he prevailed. Palin’s cry of foul is ingeniuine and rings hollow.

And now she has become a card-carrying participator in silly season in this manufactured feud with David Letterman. The man tells edgy jokes that approach the inappropriate boundry FOR A LIVING. All this talk of boycotting Letterman by Draft Sarah is so inane because of the fact that none of the people who would consider Draft Sarah anything but an organization of crack smokers wouldn’t watch Letterman in the first place.zazzle.com

Secondly, a good politician would put out a statement “blah, blah, blah, the joke demeans women, blah, blah, blah..” and move on. A smart politican wouldn’t engage a COMEDIAN WHO HOSTS A TELEVISION SHOW. Like they say: you don’t fight down. She just looks like a moron even addressing it personally, and then her lower IQ allows her to say things like, “Hey maybe he couldn’t be trusted because Willow’s had enough of these types of comments, and maybe Willow would want to react it him in a way that maybe would catch off guard.” Are you fucking kidding me? Seriously, they need a Special Ed class for politicians of her lack of caliber. Really, go read every issue of Newsweek from the last year and then maybe, just maybe she’ll be informed enough to move up to politics for second graders.

Basically, there are a few qualities American voters tend to hone in on when in the “decider” booth. One of them is strength. Playing the victim is a major turnoff when a broad spectrum of voters are involved, as they would be in a national election. Blaming the media just makes Sarah look like a weak, bitchy shrew – which is how many people saw Hillary in the 90’s. No one ever succeeded in recent elections with the “Poor me” syndrome. Voters don’t care if the media is rough on politicians. At all. A candidate has to rise above the petty noise and stay above it. Sarah just looks like a pig in mud. And that won’t win elections.

So, the next time Palin wants to go on national television and say,

Here’s the problem, Matt – the double standard that has been applied here. One, let’s talk politically, the double standard. First, remember in the campaign, Barack Obama said the family’s off-limits – you don’t talk about my family. And the candidate who must be obeyed – everybody adhered to that and left his family. They haven’t done that on the other side of the ticket, and it has continued to this day. So that’s a political double standard. But here again, the double standard when it comes to acceptance of a celebrity being able to get way with a disparaging comment that does erode a young girl’s self-esteem and does contribute to some of the problems that we have in society.

someone on her team better get fired. And they need to draw a stick figure with big red lips and say “That’s you.” Then they need to draw a puppy and say, “That’s your political dream.” Then they need to draw the stick figure shooting the puppy and say, “That’s what you’re doing when you engage in this kindergarten, sandlot fight with the media. It doesn’t work. It never has. It never will.” Maybe then she’ll get it. But probably not.

Remember, America just had one shit-fer-brains for a president. We’re not looking for another one. Well, most of us aren’t.

The majority of voters are idiots. You are, too.

Just thought I’d drop by and spread a little joy and sunshine.

I liked the point about strength. Though I hate to make everything about race, I agree that Obama was held to a higher standard (because he was black and knew the first slip-up would be overblown).

The thing is, I don’t remember the Democrats attacking her family during the election. Some left wing television show hosts like Bill Maher attacked her family, but I don’t remember anything from the party itself. I remember thinking that if Obama had had a daughter who’d gotten pregnant during his campaign he’d have been done. Palin wanted to leave families out of the campaign, yet she had no problem displaying her family for all to see — she brought her daughter on stage in an attempt to show that she supported Bristol despite the pregnancy. She held her child with down syndrome over a podium for all to see, like something out of the Lion King.

And I love how all of Obama’s associations with anyone who was not the human embodiment of Jesus H. Christ were used to portray that he was the most evil person in America. Yet hardly anyone mentioned Todd Palin’s association with the Alaska Independence Party, who wanted Alaska to secede from the union and considered the American government its enemy. Even if there is no validation, this would have destroyed Obama if such dirt were dug up on Michelle.

You can’t play the victim when you are your own worst enemy. Palin made a joke out of the presidential campaign. “Drill, baby, drill!” How embarrassed I felt for her. Or when she couldn’t even name a newspaper she read on a regular basis because she read “all of them”. And there’s only so much of that folksy charm nonsense you can use before people get really tired and really annoyed by it. I guess the timing of Sarah Palin’s vice president bid couldn’t have come at a better time because after being victim to 8 years of Bush, the American people realized that it could always be worse.

If anything, the media has been very generous to Sarah Palin. I can’t say I’m sorry that the media repeatedly displays her idiocy for all the see. No, Sarah, I’m sorry that you’re actually the idiot that they display. The shoe fits. Wear it.

Meredith, how would you like to be attacked like this? If you were an elected official or was running for office, how would you like to be “the victim” of media bias? And if you chose to take your family with you during a national campaign, how would you like your underage daughters to be mocked? It wouldn’t the least bit bother you that you and your girls would be the subject of rape and incest jokes? I know you’re a hopeless liberal, but I would think even liberals like you do have at least a small amount of pride and self-respect.

Your take on Palin and her family is very much representative of the minority view on them. If she were from California, did not have five kids, was an atheist, and socially liberal, it would be a different story, wouldn’t it? The unjustified and disgusting attacks on her intelligence are predictable and yet irresponsible. Is this how leftists express their opposition to that which they don’t agree, by calling them ignorant? You and others like you describe George W. Bush the same way. Funny how you only consider people who are different than you ignorant while people who have similar beliefs to yours are highly intelligent. Double standards, indeed.

And you’ve got to be either grossly naieve or deaf and dumb not to realize the Obama-worshipping media has been going after Palin and her family like a pack of filthy, stinking, rabid dogs. As pathetic, desperate, and lowlife as the attacks have been, they’re not exclusive to Palin. The proof: http://www.mrc.org/notablequotables/nq/2009/20090612032615.aspx.

Generally, they’re done to all Republicans. The mainstream media, which has become a mouthpiece for the Jackass Party, just can’t bear to actually provide fair and responsible coverage to the GOP. That’s what the media is supposed to do. And I can attest to that since I’ve made my living in the media industry for the past 15 years.

Furthermore, Meredith, Palin isn’t playing the media victim. How the hell is she supposed to respond to all the garbarge being distributed by the GOP-hating media? Ignore it? Pretend like it’s going away? I think we can all agree Palin will be involved, at least on some level, in the 2012 election. So it stands to reason the media isn’t going to go quietly into that good Obama night.

It is a fact liberals have one set of standards for themselves and another completely different set for everyone else, regardles of whether they are conservative Republicans. Liberals are allowed – and expected – to get away with certain things, while conservatives are expected to just keep their mouths shut and do what the mainstream media tells them. Party of compassion and tolerance, my ass.

And that’s what bothers me most. You liberals talk constantly about tolerance, until it comes to actually tolerating people with ideas, beliefs, and convictions different than yours. How do you explain that? You mean to say you’re only tolerant of people like you?

Also, supporters of left-wing policies in general and Obama in particular don’t like the opposition criticizing their president. They call it racist, un-American, and ignorant. But it’s all fine and good when liberals start attacking Republicans for any and all reasons. When you attack us, it’s reasonable. When we attack you, it’s void of any logic, regardless of the argument. Fairness and tolerance be damned.

As for Obama, he was held to a higher standard because the media invented it. You mock Palin’s governorship, as if being a governor doesn’t actually stand for anything, but you let Obama off the hook. Let me remind you that Obama served one term in the U.S. Senate. He ran his campaign mostly on false hope and empty promises. He took advantage of his half-black heritage and convinced people they had to vote for him because it would be something of an historic accomplishment. But he also talked at length about his community organizing in Chicago, at one point saying it made him more qualified for the presidency than McCain-Palin.

So, you liberals keep going after Palin but continue to ignore the real Obama. Just like the media, you choose to look the other way when it comes to his obvious connections to terrorists, racists, and other criminals – you know, the likes of Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers. Guess we’re supposed to ignore all that in the name of hope and change, right? Bullshit. If a Republican running for president were associated with scum like that, he’d have no chance in hell. Double standards, indeed.

Moreover, Obama did take exception for Republicans criticizing his wife when she made those utterly stupid comments about being proud of her country for the first time. He went on talk shows to express his anger and to tell the world his family was off limits. Oh, but the same logic doesn’t apply to Palin’s family, huh? That situation is different, because she’s a Republican. No way exists for liberals to rationalize the obvious bias you have against people who aren’t like you. You simply shrug them off like they don’t matter and bow down to Obama and his state-run media. “Oh, glorious one, we love you for all eternity. Bless us with your hope and change. Usher in a new era of utopia. Save us from those evil conservative Republicans. Damn them for their guns and religion and their unborn babies. Damn them, oh holy one!”

    Sick fucks.

Palin is not the one who should be embarrassed about anything. You hate her because she stands for something, and we all know liberals only stand for themselves. For that, you should be ashamed. What are you going to do with yourselves should Obama lose in 2012 to a Republican? Liberals vowed to move to Canada or kill themselves in 2004 if Bush won a second term. I didn’t see much of that actually happening. Besides, it takes a miserable son-of-a-bitch to want to take their own life based on who wins the presidency.

And contrary to what you’re saying about Palin’s intelligence – again, a common attack by liberals who are threatened by people different than they – she is quite intelligent, just as intelligent as your beloved liberal poster boy Obama. By the way, when are you liberals going to get cured of your Bush Derangement Syndrome? Are you so obsessed with him and so full of hate, as most liberals are, that you just can’t get over him? Cheer up. Your “sort of God” is in power now.

    FROM AMERICANTHINKER.COM:

****The best and the brightest on the left go into politics. The best on the right run their own businesses. So it is no surprise that the left is far more adept, even expert at the art of hardball politics. And they are telling us something profound.

The left is telling us something many feel, many find as a hunch, that Sarah Palin is the most dangerous threat to the Obama administration with no close second. The left is telling us this by their “over the top” attacks. Not just the Letterman assaults, but the constant barrage of grievances filed against her in Alaska. The attacks every day on Palin for no apparent reason — except that the left seems to see her quite differently from any Republican candidate. A difference of kind, not of degree.

They would never do this to Romney, Huckabee or Newt, at least not to this level. There is a clear reason — these guys couldn’t fill up a high school stadium unless they were giving out free beer.

What is the Sarah difference? Well, it’s not the issues, at least that is not all of it. It is the charisma factor. Charisma is not learned, it is innate. One is born with it and no amount of training can inject it. Jack Kennedy had it. So did Reagan. Now Obama. Out of the thousands of politicians who have come and gone over the last generation, not one other person has shown “it.”

Money is no longer the life blood of politics. Charisma is. Charisma can raise money overnight; money far beyond what a tired, inarticulate incumbent can raise from rich donors.

When you have “it,” the conventional rules no longer apply. Reagan was vilified in 1976 and few thought he could ever be president. No matter how the liberals berated him as a “dumb actor” who made chimp movies and the actor who never got the girl, he just looked the American people in the eye, gave them a dose of common sense and it was over. Carter went on to build low income houses and a life of obscurity punctuated by mischief.

The street fighting, world class, lifelong political experts of the left see “it” and it makes them crazy. They went crazy for Obama; they are going crazy for Palin, although in the other direction.

Palin could fill a stadium if she were reciting a cookbook. But she isn’t. She is delivering common sense to an electorate that is becoming ever more jaded every day with the Obama nonsense. Miranda rights for terrorists? $4 trillion deficit?

Look at the blow she delivered with one phrase about “styrofoam columns” and imagine what she can do with the material Obama has recently given her.

Opposing Palin’s values has no payoff for the left. They oppose those values for any conservative. They have to destroy her. And that is her power because they can’t destroy her.

Whenever she chooses, she will take her first trip to Iowa to campaign for some obscure congressional candidate, and when she does, the liberal media cannot ignore the screaming crowds. And they will not be crowds manufactured by an advance team. They will be fired up mothers, working people who do not want to pay for deadbeats’ mortgages, people who are now going to grass roots tea parties.

The television age gives “it,” charisma, more power than ever before. Charisma is magnified through television. How else to explain how a 2 year senator few knew could derail Hillary in a few months. How else to explain how an anti-charisma John McCain, someone television does not flatter or magnify, saw his crowds surge when Palin was next to him. Palin, an obscure, unknown governor of our most distant and most unknown state, walked onto the national stage and ignited a burst of energy that may well have taken McCain over the top, until his Queeg-like pausing of his campaign to work on a financial crisis and then vote for a bailout.

The landscape is now quite different. There are tens of millions of people who never voted for Obama, telling their friends “don’t blame me.” There is a growing number who did vote for Obama who have lost their jobs at car dealerships, who have not found work yet even after the massive spending, and there are those who just say “…this is not the change I had in mind.”

Some thought McCain would be the anti-charisma candidate against the charisma candidate and that would work. Now we may be lining up for the common sense charisma campaign against the nonsense charisma.

The left is telling us something and they are the experts. They are telling us not to make Palin the conservative candidate because if we do, it will be humiliating. I agree with them and I take them at their word.

It will be the undoing of Obama, and it may be overwhelming.

    THERE’S MORE:
****The putrid comments by David Letterman about Sarah Palin and her daughter, and the dethronement of Carrie Prejean for the vice of honesty, bring home just have savagely civil life has been murdered by the Left. We no longer have a civil public life. It has been crushed between pinchers of enraged nihilism and fantasy causes. “Feminists” or the Ladies Auxiliary of Marxist Enmity (LAME) should be threatening boycotts of the CBS or demanding the de-politicization of beauty contests, but that presumes LAME cares about women: its disciples care only about venting their private fury towards an empty life.

What has happened to Sarah and Carrie has happened to our whole social fabric. Decent people relating in normal lives have traditionally been able to share values: truth, learning, amusement, family, country and faith. These have been disappearing from our social lives; each strangled and then hauled off for a clandestine burial.

Consider what has happened to truth in modern life. Barack Obama invents stories about his relatives visiting Auschwitz — words that are whole cloth — and no one much cares. The descent accelerated when Bill Clinton lied about Monica Lewinsky and almost everything else, and has continued unabated. The very act of lying, once considered evil, is now considered proof of shrewdness. How well someone can “spin” truth is considered rather like how a tennis player or a baseball pitcher can spin a ball.

If truth does not matter, then the accumulation of truth which we call learning cannot matter either. Public education and academia is simply re-education. Children and college students are taught “facts” that round out political indoctrination. There was a time when education meant exposing growing minds to a universe of facts which supported conflicting opinions and grasping the thinking behind those opinions. The myth of the intolerant medieval university or old public school systems of America is evidence of just how little our modern totalitarians actually know: debate, controversy, cognition, and schools of thought were the norm, not the exception. The very term “schools of thought,” no longer exists. In our murdered civil life, there is “the school of thought,” surrounded by barbed wire.

Amusement too has died. In its place are spite, angst, degradation, imbecility, and madness dressed up as entertainment. Channel surfing, even when the surf is as long as the Pacific Coast, shows just how empty the once bright stage of entertainment has become. We loved Lucy, but not the untalented and unfunny women who came fifty years after her. Singers like Perry Como have been replaced by puerile, forgettable nebbishes. Once films like It’s a Wonderful Life joined us into a common, happy heart, but now the vacuum we call “Hollywood” cannot produce anything better than bad remakes of old movies.

Families once were families. Fathers, mothers, grandparents, sisters, brothers, cousins, children — the glorious linkage of life which reproduction and its inventor, God, gave us. In many ways, family was the center of life. “Marry in haste, repent at leisure” was true wisdom. Holidays revolved around families. People grew up in families. Houses were homes, and homes were where the heart was. Now we haggle over the meaning of words like “marriage” and talk about the lives of unborn babies in terms of “choice.” Family in our world, like in the totalitarian nightmares of Stalin and Hitler, has been crushed into a vague, weak, feeling and nothing more.

Once the overwhelming majority of Americans understood that the greatest blessing of their lives was simply being born in the land of liberty. Now vast numbers of our fellow countrymen actually view the chosen home of tens of millions of refugees as simply an ordinary nation or, depending upon how marinated they are in modern culture, view America as the primary source of misery and injustice in the world.

Faith, too, has been purged from our society. Faith in anything is considered suspicious unless it is faith in the bland materialism of the ant colony so some form of paganism with brutal, animal values. Transcendent moral ideals repel so many of us that the community of faith is almost an underground resistance in some dreary Orwellian regime. Expressing faith (ask Sarah and Carrie) is an invitation to the ugliest sort of mob lynch parties. The Shabbat candles must be kindled in the closest and the sign of the fish drawn in the dust with a stick.

Strip honesty, knowledge, amusement, family, country, and belief from communal life and nothing, much, is left. That is where we are today. That is why the blathering television set and the chattering classrooms seem so utterly empty. That is why so many young people, born after the end of civil life, accept any dream world so completely. Civil life has died. More specifically, it has been murdered by those who find no meaning in life and no purpose for existence. They wish us to live as they do: desperately alone.

That’s right, you self-righteous bastards. Live on in your misery!

jesus – essence – if that isn’t the longest comment in the history of blogdom!

if a person is going to step into the public sphere, they have to expect irrational and rational attacks. i’m simply judging Palin’s strategy in her response to them and pointing out how flawed it is.

your comment: “And you’ve got to be either grossly naieve or deaf and dumb not to realize the Obama-worshipping media has been going after Palin and her family like a pack of filthy, stinking, rabid dogs.” don’t you just love when people point out how naive or dumb you have to be not to agree with them? of course the media went after Palin, she’s a good story. the fact that someone so vapid could become a governor of a state is well worth the media attention. but had obama had the same family history as palin or mccain, he wouldn’t even be senator. palin gets dogged for good reasons, but the pretty white lady came close (not really) to being second in line to the leader of the free world despite the fact that she can’t say on coherent sentence about israel, china, iran, russia, health care, etc. her policy opinions are stale repub talking points my dog could recite in his sleep.

and correction: i don’t hate palin, and she doesn’t stand for anything. and you’re talking about people who lost their jobs at car dealerships – you think that would have been so different had mccain been elected? obama gave billions to the auto industry that kept a lot of food on a lot of tables as long as he could to help soften car dealerships’ landing and you want to blame him for the loss of jobs? give me a break. you can’t have it both ways – attacking him for giving money and then attacking him for the loss of jobs. ridiculous.

you honestly do not understand the reaction to sarah and carrie prejean. and perhaps if you took a minute to understand our opinions instead of leaping into a vein-bulging fit at our criticisms of them, you might understand. they are hypocrites. they would dare to tell us how to lead our lives while having planks of wood in their own eyes. this is annoying and irritating. and it makes them easy targets.

secondly, you don’t have to have christian values to live happily – in fact, hippies and those of us not suffering under the guilt-inducing control of the church feel much more liberty and freedom than you can possibly imagine. christians do not have the monopoly on “happy families” and your little norman rockwell picture of family is flawed reminiscing. families have always been in flux. in fact the majority of marriages have been dictated by economics and politics and parental control, not love. adultery has been widespread, divorce is just as high among christians as the rest of the population. every time you turn on the news, you hear of a christian pastor or preacher who has stolen the churches money, molested a child, beaten his wife, or lives wealthy off the donation of his followers despite Jesus’ teachings against the rich.

your demographic is shrinking. the religionious, white, victim-of-the-media proclaiming, defender of hypocrites, want to control everyone’s life and then wax on about how wonderful and loving the Xtian church is. Gag me. You guys are dying off. and now amount of idiots like sarah palin, no amount of fake tittied carrie prejeans. no amount of megalomaniacal hannities and limbaughs and o’reillys are going to change that. and thank baby jesus for that.

self-righteous? i think not. for too long, we have sat quietly as jerry falwell, pat robertson, hagee and the rest of your kooky little moral majority spouted hate that would probably make jesus (as he was written in the bible) faint in disbelief that these were the leaders of his followers. for the last eight years we have watched your rigth-wingers bring this country to the brink of ruin – economically, morally, socially.

we’re tired of it. you call us self-righteous? no, we’re finally raising our voices. and it feels awesome. mark my words: change is a comin’, biotch. we lefties have found our voice and we’re not shuttin’ up. you guys can sit there and whine about being victims all you want. it’s pathetic, tired, and false. i’m over it.

okay, that’s all i have time for.

Thanks, Gunner. What a thoughtful and intelligent comment. You don’t prove my point about righties at all.

YOU: and correction: i don’t hate palin, and she doesn’t stand for anything. and you’re talking about people who lost their jobs at car dealerships – you think that would have been so different had mccain been elected? obama gave billions to the auto industry that kept a lot of food on a lot of tables as long as he could to help soften car dealerships’ landing and you want to blame him for the loss of jobs? give me a break. you can’t have it both ways – attacking him for giving money and then attacking him for the loss of jobs. ridiculous.

ME: I don’t remember ever blaming Obama for the loss of jobs in this country. People were losing their jobs long, long before The One took office. And don’t think for a second he actually cares about people having food on their tables. For him, the auto industry was a good crisis of which to take advantage – nothing more.

YOU: you honestly do not understand the reaction to sarah and carrie prejean. and perhaps if you took a minute to understand our opinions instead of leaping into a vein-bulging fit at our criticisms of them, you might understand. they are hypocrites. they would dare to tell us how to lead our lives while having planks of wood in their own eyes. this is annoying and irritating. and it makes them easy targets.

ME: I understand perfectly, my liberal friend. Had Prejean answered that stupid fucking pageant question differently, this would be another matter altogether. Heaven forbid she says what she feels. Tolerance, my ass. As for hypocrisy, liberals are the standard. Understanding goes both ways.

YOU: secondly, you don’t have to have christian values to live happily – in fact, hippies and those of us not suffering under the guilt-inducing control of the church feel much more liberty and freedom than you can possibly imagine. christians do not have the monopoly on “happy families” and your little norman rockwell picture of family is flawed reminiscing. families have always been in flux. in fact the majority of marriages have been dictated by economics and politics and parental control, not love. adultery has been widespread, divorce is just as high among christians as the rest of the population. every time you turn on the news, you hear of a christian pastor or preacher who has stolen the churches money, molested a child, beaten his wife, or lives wealthy off the donation of his followers despite Jesus’ teachings against the rich.

ME: I can talk about family, Meredith, because I’ve been part of it all my life. But I agree you can indeed find happiness in other things. But that kind of joy is temporary and empty. It’s false. And aren’t you married? Even without kids, that makes you part of a family. What you do with it is up to you. Don’t pretend to lecture me on matters of which you have little to no knowledge.

You can argue all you want about wolves in sheep skin. Those kind of people are everywhere, church and otherwise. Saying you’re not going to be involved in church or any kind of faith whatsoever because you might see something bad is like saying you’re not going to leave your house because you might have an accident. Not much logic there.

YOU: your demographic is shrinking. the religionious, white, victim-of-the-media proclaiming, defender of hypocrites, want to control everyone’s life and then wax on about how wonderful and loving the Xtian church is. Gag me. You guys are dying off. and now amount of idiots like sarah palin, no amount of fake tittied carrie prejeans. no amount of megalomaniacal hannities and limbaughs and o’reillys are going to change that. and thank baby jesus for that.

ME: Your perception of reality remains skewed, your blaspheming sickening. It is you, in the minority, who is shrinking. Don’t mistake that socialist’s election victory in November as some kind of liberal mandate. Over 57 million people voted for McCain-Palin, people who didn’t buy into this utopia bullshit preached by a community organizer. And the economy tanked at just the right time. How convenient for your half-black messiah.

YOU: self-righteous? i think not. for too long, we have sat quietly as jerry falwell, pat robertson, hagee and the rest of your kooky little moral majority spouted hate that would probably make jesus (as he was written in the bible) faint in disbelief that these were the leaders of his followers. for the last eight years we have watched your rigth-wingers bring this country to the brink of ruin – economically, morally, socially.

ME: So you associate me with people like Falwell, Robertson and Hagee? Why? Furthermore, if the last eight years brought America to the brink of ruin, then I want more. It’ll be interesting to see your reaction by the end of 2012, when Obama gives “the brink of ruin” new meaning. Stop blaming the previous administration for all the world’s problems and start holding your little socialist president to account.

YOU: we’re tired of it. you call us self-righteous? no, we’re finally raising our voices. and it feels awesome. mark my words: change is a comin’, biotch. we lefties have found our voice and we’re not shuttin’ up. you guys can sit there and whine about being victims all you want. it’s pathetic, tired, and false. i’m over it.

ME: I don’t think I’ve ever told you to shut up, and we’ve talked about this, Meredith. As disgustingly liberal as you are, I want you to talk. And victim? Oh, hell no. I’m no victim. No liberal could ever victimize me. That’s fucking hilarious. We conservatives have been tolerant of your agenda, your double standards, your lies, for far too long, and now you’re getting your soft little liberal feelings hurt because you’re being confronted with the truth.

We’re the true party of tolerance and compassion, and we’re freaking awesome. Yes, our awesomeness is perpetual. What do you have? Obama, trees, and gayness. You have fun with that shit.

Gunner, I understand how you feel. But I can attest to the fact Mpressions is not an idiot. Like most liberals, she’s simply lost her way. Sometimes, it’s not even their fault.

Meredith, don’t forget you like me. You must tell all your friends – liberals and conservatives alike – about me. Don’t be scared. You can do it.

    Hi,

Just found your blog. Good stuff.

Some of these comments are a hoot. It shows the movie Idiocracy didn’t quite get it right. The fools, twits, idiots, stump jumpers, morons, imbeciles and just plain lazy folks are here in force, right now. They’ve always been here, which is one of the reasons why life is generally hard.

Keep blogging and I’ll keep reading.

I see we have more liberal sexist hatred toward Sarah Palin.
